Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting LLC, Hitachi Solutions, Ltd., and Workday, Inc. are pleased to announce that the three companies will collaborate in the field of human resources, payroll, and employment management to promote HR modernization for companies that create organizational and HR systems that contribute to management.
In recent years, HCM (Human Capital Management) solutions have been increasingly adopted and utilized by companies doing business globally as a system for human resource management that supports strategic initiatives such as formulating and executing human resource strategies linked to management and business strategies, and attracting, developing, and retaining diverse human resources that contribute to improving corporate value. However, system configurations tend to become more complex, as optimal system integration and customization is required in accordance with domestic laws, regulations, and operational practices, particularly in the areas of payroll and attendance in Japan. As a result, many companies are facing challenges in suppressing increases in workload and costs, and delays in promoting human resource management.
In order to address these issues, this collaboration has two main objectives:
1. To provide a solution that links the comprehensive human resources management solution Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) with Hitachi Solutions‘ LYSITHEA , which is well-equipped to comply with Japanese laws and regulations for personnel, payroll, and employment management, as a simple and comprehensive configuration option from within the HR system ecosystem.
2. Deloitte Tohmatsu will play a central role in promoting project and change management with consistency from the perspective of vision, objectives, and resolving related HR issues, even when spanning multiple solutions and implementation projects. In addition, we will provide one-stop support in the process to smoothly coordinate with management and business, and to smoothly address new issues arising from an increasingly complex business environment.

Going forward, the three companies will continue to work together to create new value by combining consulting services that support strategic HR transformation with the provision of optimal system configurations in the HR field, thereby realizing corporate HR modernization.
