NTT Telecom Corporation Chubu Branch, Fuji City, and NTT Business Solutions Corporation signed an agreement on “Agreement on a demonstration experiment to solve issues in the water supply business in Fuji City using water smart meters.”
Local governments are seeing an increase in project costs related to the development of infrastructure such as public facilities, roads, and water supplies, while at the same time facing a chronic shortage of human resources involved in these projects. This has created an urgent need to improve operational efficiency by promoting digital transformation.
This agreement aims to digitalize water and sewerage-related operations in Fuji City by conducting a demonstration experiment using remote water meter reading technology using our communications terminals and centralized monitoring system.
