Norinchukin Bank and its group company, Norinchukin Information Systems, announced that they would introduce the cloud content utilization platform “Box” and use its utilization know-how to sell to external parties as a sales partner of Box Japan . The Norinchukin Bank Group began introducing Box in December 2022. They established a system to consolidate content that was previously scattered across their own workflow systems, file servers, personal PCs, paper documents, etc. into Box, and are currently using it as a content management platform for 19 domestic and 4 overseas locations and 14 group companies. They say that Box has strengthened the secure sharing of information and content between departments and with external parties.
They also used the AI function “Box AI” to create an environment for the efficient use of internal knowledge by improving question and answer sessions and searchability for internal documents. By linking Box with ServiceNow, they aim to improve the efficiency of document management by adding metadata to content and comply with laws and regulations such as the Electronic Bookkeeping Act . Norinchukin Bank and Nochu Information Systems have launched a new external sales business to expand this experience to regional financial institutions and other industries, and have launched Box services and consulting services as a sales partner of Box Japan .
