Money Forward, Inc. has implemented a major feature update to Money Forward Cloud Debt Payment. This will prevent oversights when creating payment requests and improve work efficiency. In addition, by releasing the API for invoice receipts, integration with other systems has been strengthened, further improving convenience for large companies and enterprise companies that use core systems.
In this feature update, we have 1) revamped the “Payment Request Creation Screen”, 2) added a “Notification Sending Feature”, 3) added an “Exchange Rate Setting” feature, and 4) released the “Receipt Invoice API”. Please see below for specific feature updates.
Renewal of the “Payment Request Creation Screen”
Usability has been improved by allowing you to preview invoices or display them in a separate window so that you can work while viewing the invoice preview screen.

Provision of “notification sending function”
When an invoice is received, you can have the person in charge notified via email or internal communication tools.
Addition of “Exchange rate settings”
When editing a payment request, simply select the transaction date and currency, and the rate will be automatically set, making it easy to process foreign currency invoices. In addition, it is possible to pre-register foreign currencies, rates, and payment periods.
Release of API for receiving invoices
It will be easier to link invoice receipt data to other systems. For users who manage orders in a core system, linking with the core system will be possible, and matching management with orders will become more efficient.
These updates will further streamline businesses’ billing management operations.
In the past, we have received requests for improvements to the payment request creation screen for Money Forward Cloud Debt Payment, as well as feedback such as the hassle of setting exchange rates each time. In addition, large corporations and enterprises that use their core systems for ordering and other tasks have expressed a desire for smooth integration with their core systems. In light of these circumstances, we have decided to provide these updates and functions.
