Invox Inc. has added an authentication code function to the invox-issued invoice service developed and operated by the company, which allows users to set an authentication code when downloading an invoice.
By using this function, you can send invoices with minimal password management burden on the business partners receiving the invoices, while reducing the risk of information leaks in the event of incorrect sending.
Invox has not recommended setting a password when sending an invoice, because the confirmation work and password management work on the recipient’s side would reduce business efficiency. There is also a movement in the government to deprecate the PPAP method (sending a password-protected ZIP file by email), and a balance between security and convenience is required.

However, in reality, some companies require passwords to be set when sending invoices and other documents outside the company, and there have been confirmed cases where companies have given up on introducing invoice issuing systems. This could result in losing an opportunity to digitize and streamline operations.
In light of this, we have been carefully listening to our users’ feedback and considering ways to flexibly meet the security requirements of the issuer while minimizing the burden on the recipient. As a result, we have decided to provide a new function that allows you to set up authentication using an authentication code when sending an invoice.
