Hitachi, Ltd. and IBM Japan, Ltd. have announced a partnership. They will integrate Hitachi’s loan digital transformation service with IBM Japan’s financial digital services platform. This partnership starts now. It aims to boost efficiency and simplify loan operations for banks.
Hitachi’s “Loan Digital Transformation Promotion Service for Financial Institutions” will connect with IBM Japan’s “Digital Services Platform for Financial Services (DSP).” This platform is based on microservices. It helps integrate multiple services smoothly. This enhancement will combine key processes for customer info and credit inquiries. Before, financial institutions had to access accounting systems separately. Now, everything will be in one smooth workflow. The integration is expected to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
Since September 2024, Hitachi, IBM Japan, and AWS Japan have worked together. Their goal is to improve digital transformation for regional financial institutions facing challenges. This initiative seeks to enhance value and stimulate regional revitalization. The new loan digital transformation features mark an important step in our co-creation effort.
