SBI Sumishin Net Bank has started a new business partnership with Monex Securities to manage financial product intermediation operations. From February 2, 2026, customers of SBI Sumishin Net Bank can access financial products and services through Monex Securities which includes domestic stocks foreign stocks investment trusts and ETFs.
The partnership functions as an extension of a broader collaboration that includes NTT Docomo. The three companies signed a business partnership agreement in December 2025. The financial solution aims to provide customers with various banking and securities and digital services which create a unified experience that matches their specific needs.
Under the current arrangement, SBI Sumishin Net Bank customers are guided from the bank’s website to open a comprehensive securities account with Monex. Once the account is opened, customers can use Monex’s trading services and product lineup.

The collaboration is expected to expand further around August 2026. Plans are in place to allow customers to open bank and securities accounts at the same time, move funds between accounts more easily, and receive benefits through group collaboration. Campaigns are also being considered.
SBI Sumishin Net Bank has already been offering services like foreign currency deposits and robo advisors. Adding Monex expands its investment options. For Monex Securities, the partnership helps reach more individual investors within the Docomo Group and supports long term asset building.
