invox Inc. has begun offering a new function, “Reading AI Agent,” for its invox Invoice Receipt service, which is developed and operated by the company. This function uses AI to learn user instructions and read the entire invoice with greater accuracy.
By using this function, you can achieve “data conversion as intended,” which was difficult with conventional AI OCR, and significantly improve the accuracy of invoice data conversion. While companies are increasingly going digital, invoice formats and layouts remain diverse, resulting in a certain number of cases where accurate reading is difficult using AI OCR or standard templates.
In particular, non-standard data such as summary fields and multi-line statements is prone to misrecognition and manual corrections, placing a significant burden on accounting staff.

In this context, in recent years, there has been a growing emphasis on not just digitization, but also accuracy and structuring so that invoice data can be used in subsequent processes such as accounting, journal entries, and analysis. To meet this need, invox has developed a new function called “Reading AI Agent,” which uses AI to understand user instructions and flexibly read data in accordance with each company’s unique data entry rules.
This feature will be provided as a standard feature at no additional cost
to users on the Basic plan or above. There will be no increase in the monthly basic fee, and no pay-per-use charges will be incurred for using this feature.
The “Reading AI Agent” is a function that allows users to instruct the AI on reading rules and structural transformations in natural language when digitizing invoices .
By having AI understand the user’s intent and converting data in accordance with that intent, we overcome the limitations of conventional AI OCR and achieve both accuracy and efficiency in invoice processing.
