Hitachi Channel Solutions, Ltd. has collaborated with Billing System Co., Ltd., the provider of the “PayB” payment service, to roll out the ATM PayB collection service to financial institutions nationwide.
In conjunction with this, Hitachi Channel Solutions has begun offering the “PayB Connection Service,” a cloud service that makes it easier to introduce “ATM PayB.”
Hitachi Channel Solutions has been working to resolve various issues and create new value with its Branch Transformation solution (BX), which responds to the streamlining of counter operations and the diversification and sophistication of customer touchpoints, primarily at financial institutions. In response to the issue of tax and public payment, which places a large administrative burden on financial institutions, Hitachi Channel Solutions has been providing ATMs compatible with tax and public payment slips to financial institutions nationwide since 2018. Hitachi Channel Solutions was also one of the first to respond to the unified QR code payment of local taxes, which will start in April 2023, and is rolling out a tax and public payment collection solution at ATMs equipped with multi-readers.
Billing System provides a smartphone payment service called “PayB” to many financial institutions. The company was considering using PayB as a solution to the problem of financial institutions having to deal with the burden of over-the-counter collection of tax and public payments.
Hitachi Channel Solutions and Billing Systems will now collaborate to roll out a tax and public fee collection service that utilizes ATMs and PayB to financial institutions nationwide.
