NTT e-Drone Technology, Inc. (President and CEO: Masahiro Takizawa, hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) will begin offering the agricultural drone “AC102,” which is equipped with a platform that supports variable fertilization in conjunction with “xarvio® FIELD MANAGER.”
1. About AC102
With the aim of contributing to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries’ “Green Food System Strategy” policy, NTT e-Drone Technology has been providing domestically produced drones that are lightweight and compact to suit Japanese farm fields, and that can flexibly comply with legal regulations because they are developed, designed and manufactured domestically.
This time, while keeping the features of our agricultural drones that have been offered so far, they have implemented a further update to link data with soil fertility maps and other data from the cultivation management support system “xarvio® FIELD MANAGER” (※ 1) provided in Japan by BASF Digital Farming and BASF Japan Ltd. The transmitter is equipped with a platform that displays field maps that support variable fertilization and automatically performs variable spraying (※ 2, 3). This specification also makes it compatible with the points (variable fertilizer applicator) of the agricultural machinery introduction subsidy program, and will continue to contribute to the promotion of the continued introduction of agricultural drones in the future.
