Flight Solutions Inc. is pleased to announce that its in-house developed touch payment solution “Tapion” will be connected to NTT DATA Corporation’s “Code Payment Gateway” and will begin supporting nine types of QR code payments.
Tapion is a touch payment solution that uses “Tap to Phone”*2 technology to turn commercially available smart devices into touch payment terminals. In recent years, as there has been a need to address the labor shortage caused by the declining birthrate and aging population, the Tapion tablet has been deployed as a labor-saving service that contributes to the easing of congestion at cash registers by improving the efficiency of accounting work and providing quicker responses.
Meanwhile, in the cashless market, QR code payments are also rapidly spreading, especially among those who do not own credit cards. For merchants, supporting a variety of payment methods is an important strategy for attracting a wide range of customers.
To meet this demand, Tapion will now introduce QR code payment in addition to credit card and transport-related electronic money touch payments, expanding its services as a multi-payment solution.

Tapion supports nine types of QR code payment, from major domestic brands such as “PayPay” and “d Pay” to overseas brands such as “Alipay+” and “WeChat Pay.” By simply using Tapion, merchants can operate a variety of payment methods, improving business efficiency, creating opportunities to attract a wider range of customers, and improving customer satisfaction through smoother transactions.
The QR code payment support will first be provided to POS vendors using the Tapion tablet, which handles everything from ordering to payment at restaurants, etc. After that, the SDK will be gradually rolled out to Tapion for smartphones as well.
Going forward, we will continue to provide services that support diversifying payment needs and labor-saving efforts through our in-house developed solutions, thereby contributing to improving user convenience and resolving social issues in a cashless society.
