Dentsu Institute Inc., which realizes the evolution of companies and society through technology, will begin offering the “Future Value Creation Program” to support the launch of new businesses from Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
By redefining and systematizing the new business creation consulting and solutions in the manufacturing field that our company has previously offered to the manufacturing industry, this program will provide comprehensive support from understanding consumer insights, to envisioning the future society, creating new businesses, formulating business plans, and building and expanding businesses.
Due to technological advances and diversifying consumer lifestyles, the business environment is changing rapidly. In order for companies to grow sustainably in this environment, they must accurately grasp consumer insights and rapidly launch new products and services that meet those insights. However, companies face challenges such as “They can only think of ideas within the scope of their existing business, so they are unable to achieve the results they want,” and “They cannot evaluate business viability and are unable to decide whether to invest.”
■ Outline of the “Future Value Creation Program”
The “Future Value Creation Program” is a program that supports the creation of new businesses by combining the “sensitivity” of capturing people’s happiness and comfort with the “intelligence” of analyzing data and building revenue models. In addition to consultants specializing in new business creation, a team is formed with data scientists who research and analyze consumer insights and system engineers who are responsible for implementation to provide total support for companies in creating new businesses.

As a member of the Dentsu Future Business Creation Research Institute, a cross-sectional Dentsu Group organization that identifies the future value of companies, Dentsu Institute of Technology has participated in the creation of tools such as the Dentsu Future Mandala*1 and Dentsu Future Finder 100*2. Using these tools, we think together about how life will change in the future and determine the business direction that companies should aim for.
2. Business Creation
The “K-Matrix Application”*3, a tool developed and provided by Dentsu Institute to encourage idea generation, will stimulate your imagination and generate new business ideas. The “K-Matrix Application” allows you to generate and evaluate many ideas in a short period of time, allowing you to consider valuable business ideas.
In addition, we will improve the quality of business ideas by using the “Double Diamond”*4 method, a design thinking framework that involves repeated divergence and convergence.
3. Business Concept
We consider how to balance customer satisfaction (emotion) with building a revenue model (intelligence) in developing our business.
4. Business development and expansion
Dentsu Institute has been involved in system integration business for many years, and is capable of creating prototypes and implementing services quickly. We also support branding activities and the creation of business operation systems to promote new businesses both inside and outside the company.
