Simtops has signed a memorandum of understanding with Liberaware to work together on infrastructure digitalization by bringing field inspection technology and digital reporting onto the same workflow. The partnership sort of brings together Simtops’ i-Reporter platform with Liberaware’s drone, and spatial data technologies so that inspection, upkeep, and reporting get handled in a more smooth way across critical infrastructure, and yes, really.
They say the two companies will jointly trial how to connect data gathered by drones, robots, and IoT devices with digital inspection records, which should make it easier to seize, organize, and actually use field information without so much hassle. On top of that, they intend to craft solutions for infrastructure operators, manufacturers, construction companies, and public agencies while also carrying out pilot projects and submitting joint proposals.
