Centric Software has launched Centric AI Studio, a generative AI platform built for product planning, development, and launch operations in the consumer goods space. The platform connects directly with Centric PLM, so teams are not jumping between disconnected tools, Excel sheets, and scattered approvals anymore.
The company is basically targeting a problem most retail and consumer brands are already dealing with. More SKUs, more sales channels, more launch pressure, yet the workflows inside companies are still kind of messy and slow. Product teams, sourcing, merchandising, and marketing often go at it like they are separate planets, so you get delays, rework, and yeah inconsistent product information.
With Centric AI Studio, AI actually gets dropped into those day to day workflows, not shoved off as some separate design tool. Teams can generate product concepts, colorways, promotional visuals, and even assortment reviews while remaining linked to live product data and the usual approval steps.
