Rakus Co., Ltd., the company behind the cloud system ‘RakuRaku Settlement,’ is partnering with Persol Business Process Design Co., Ltd. The partnership starts January 20th. The idea is to help companies get better productivity and make expense reimbursement easier.
Japan’s working-age population is decreasing. Birth rates are very low and the population is getting older. Businesses are really suffering from a lack of workers. It is even more severe in less populated areas. People move away and hiring is hard. At the same time, companies spend a lot of time on routine tasks. That keeps them from focusing on the business they should focus on. Expense reimbursement is necessary but complicated. It takes a lot of time. Companies really need to make it more efficient.
Rakus has promoted digital transformation with ‘RakuRaku Settlement.’ But the system alone cannot do everything. Some companies need help designing workflows, building operations, and setting up processes. That kind of support goes beyond just putting in a system.

So they teamed up with Persol Business Process Design. Persol does BPO, consulting, and BPaaS. Together they will make a BPaaS service. It will support small and medium companies and mid-tier enterprises. They will focus on accounting and HR departments in enterprise companies. This allows them to meet complex business needs, even for big organizations.
For companies that already use RakuRaku Settlement, Persol will help with workflow design and running operations. For companies trying to streamline expense reimbursement, Rakus will help. Together they want to free customers from routine admin tasks so people can focus on core business.
Later, they want to go beyond expense reimbursement. They plan to improve efficiency across the whole back office. They also want to help companies with work style reforms and productivity improvements for Japanese companies.
