Pendo.io Japan Co., Ltd. launched “Pendo Dojo,” a companion-based support program designed to enhance the self-sustaining capabilities of product management.
Many Japanese companies fail to fully utilize data in product development and user experience (UX) improvements, often stalling when it comes to KPI design and decision-making. Issues like “How should KPIs be designed and managed?”, “Which indicators should we focus on?”, and “What measures should we take to address identified issues?” are common issues facing companies. “Pendo Dojo” is a program that addresses these issues by combining Pendo’s unique strengths: “knowledge gained from product management at thousands of companies around the world” and “visualization of customer data using the Pendo platform.” PdM consultants and technical support staff work alongside customers, with the goal being to help them think and make decisions on their own, rather than having consultants provide answers.
“Pendo Dojo” helps clients identify issues from a PdM perspective and supports improvements based on quantitative perspectives using KPIs, thereby establishing a self-sustaining system. It also speeds up decision-making by clarifying indicators to watch and utilizing data visualized by Pendo. Furthermore, it works with clients to develop hypotheses and concrete actions for UX improvement, co-creating an improvement cycle. This program is available to companies currently using the Pendo TAM Gold Plan.

The program will also feature a dinosaur character dressed in a judo uniform, “Pendo-kun (Black Belt Dinosaur).” Combining strength and friendliness, this mascot embodies the Pendo Dojo’s spirit of “learning while having fun and continuing to improve.”
