Prior to STL , Paul Atkinson was General Manager and CEO of the IXOM Group in Australia. Prior to IXOM, Paul was associated with Prysmian Global for over 20 years as CEO of affiliates and regions around the world. During this period, he led several successful business integrations and was instrumental in non-linear growth across all regions and lines of business. Prior to the Prysmian Group, he held leadership roles in commercial, finance and operations in the consumer goods and healthcare sectors. Paul takes on this responsibility from Ankit Agarwal, which played a crucial role in STL’s global expansion into the optical networking industry. Ankit expanded the portfolio with the acquisition of Optotec & Metallurgica Bresciana and increased STL’s scale and presence in Italy, UK, USA, Brazil and China . As a full-time director on the board, Ankit will now focus on driving STL’s strategy and growth.
