C3 AI (NYSE: AI), a leader in enterprise AI software, and Infor, a leader in ERP technology cloud, today announced a Far-reaching strategic alliance announced. The aim is to expand the enterprise-class solutions for artificial intelligence (AI) in various relevant industries in order to expand Infor’s native resources for machine learning. This allows to examine the expansion of its industrial offerings towards edge scenarios and analyze opportunities to offer more comprehensive resources beyond Infor’s standard offerings.
Infor intends to market, license and provide ready-made solutions for its C3 AI customers under the brand name Infor and new solutions for the use of the C3 AI ®Investigate suite. Infor and C3 AI expect to be able to leverage the existing digital portfolios of both companies to work together on new integrated enterprise AI applications that can meet specific industrial needs. The initial focus will be on predictive maintenance related to Internet of Things (IoT) systems. The goal is to implement a more proactive and precise maintenance strategy within Infor’s EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) solution. The partnership is structured in such a way that further verticals can be explored. It is designed to complement Infor’s existing platform technologies with advanced analytics and built-in intelligence.
