Huawei Enterprise BG Announces Partner System Transformation to Build a New Digital Ecosystem

Huawei’s Enterprise Business Group (BG) launched its strategic plan for partner companies in 2021. According to the plan, Huawei will continue to develop, encourage, motivate and support the partners through better investments and incentives to build an open, collaborative and common-benefit ecosystem.

In 2020, Huawei Enterprise Business sales revenue reached CNY 100.3 billion, a year-on-year increase of 23.0%, figures that would not have been possible without the valuable support of partners. At the end of 2020, Huawei had more than 30,000 partners. Among them, there were more than 22,000 sales partners, 1,600 solution partners, 5,400 service and operations partners, 1,600 talent alliances, and 100 investment and financing partners. In addition to this, more than 19,000 partners have joined the HUAWEI CLOUD program . HUAWEI CLOUD has more than 4,000 applications in service in the market and has attracted 1.6 million developers, thus creating a thriving ecosystem.

Ma Yue , executive vice president of Enterprise BG, said that companies must work together to embrace the era of digital transformation, of which Huawei will become a leading partner. Huawei will focus on the following priorities to build a new ecosystem in the digital future:

  1. The focus will be kept on cultivating, motivating and supporting core partners, enhancing partner capabilities, and building mutual community. In 2020, 81% of Enterprise BG’s sales revenue came from partners. In 2021, Huawei will continue to increase this relationship and strive to boost cooperation with its core partners.
  2. The traditional partner system will be transformed into one that covers the entire life cycle, from consulting to planning, design, sales, delivery, maintenance and operations for business digital transformation. In 2021, Huawei will create a group of partners for integration, operations, investment, planning and consulting. In addition, it will also establish specialized development and support teams to collaborate with partners in helping clients achieve digitization.
  3. The development of global talent alliances will be strengthened and ICT talent for industries will be cultivated to help improve the business environment. By 2021, Huawei aims to establish 2,000 Huawei ICT academies and certify another 160,000 professionals (with 560,000 people certified by then) globally.

Huawei adheres to the “Platform + Ecosystem” strategy and works to build an ecosystem conducive to meeting customer requirements, and will continue to be fair and transparent in its alliances while seeking to create new common value and benefits for all.
