This infrastructure uses RAG technology to search and extract necessary information and link it to generation AI, providing a function for highly accurate question answering from hundreds of TB of internal information stored in file servers, etc. As a result, approximately 290,000 people in the Sumitomo Electric Group can now collect internal information in an interactive format, enabling improved productivity and digital transformation through the effective use of knowledge.<\/p><p>2022\u5e74\u306bChatGPT\u304c\u767b\u5834\u3057\u305f\u3053\u3068\u3067\u3001\u591a\u304f\u306e\u4f01\u696d\u304c\u30b8\u30a7\u30cd\u30ec\u30fc\u30c6\u30a3\u30d6AI\u6d3b\u7528\u306e\u91cd\u8981\u6027\u3092\u8a8d\u8b58\u3057\u3001\u6700\u9069\u306a\u6d3b\u7528\u65b9\u6cd5\u3092\u6a21\u7d22\u3057\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3002\u4f4f\u53cb\u96fb\u5de5\u3082\u7a4d\u6975\u7684\u306b\u30b8\u30a7\u30cd\u30ec\u30fc\u30c6\u30a3\u30d6AI\u306e\u6d3b\u7528\u3092\u9032\u3081\u3066\u304a\u308a\u30012023\u5e7410\u6708\u306b\u306f\u30b0\u30eb\u30fc\u30d7\u5404\u793e\u306bChatGPT\u3092\u5b89\u5fc3\u3057\u3066\u5229\u7528\u3067\u304d\u308b\u74b0\u5883\u3092\u5c55\u958b\u3057\u305f\u3002\u540c\u74b0\u5883\u306e\u5229\u7528\u304c\u9032\u3080\u306b\u3064\u308c\u3001\u5404\u90e8\u9580\u306e\u30e6\u30fc\u30b6\u30fc\u304b\u3089\u300c\u793e\u5185\u60c5\u5831\u3092\u30b8\u30a7\u30cd\u30ec\u30fc\u30c6\u30a3\u30d6AI\u3067\u6d3b\u7528\u3057\u305f\u3044\u300d\u3068\u3044\u3046\u58f0\u304c\u591a\u304f\u5bc4\u305b\u3089\u308c\u3001\u793e\u5185\u60c5\u5831\u306b\u5bfe\u5fdc\u3067\u304d\u308b\u30b8\u30a7\u30cd\u30ec\u30fc\u30c6\u30a3\u30d6AI\u306e\u5fc5\u8981\u6027\u304c\u6d6e\u304d\u5f6b\u308a\u306b\u306a\u3063\u305f\u3002<\/p><p>The key to solving the problem was QuickSolution &reg; and RAG*1. QuickSolution &reg; is a domestically developed enterprise search&nbsp; that can search the contents of files across file servers and various internal systems. QuickSolution &reg; utilizes RAG to provide a generative AI integration function that answers questions based on the results of searching internal information.<\/p><h4><strong>\u3053\u3061\u3089\u3082\u304a\u8aad\u307f\u304f\u3060\u3055\u3044\uff1a <a class=\"p-url\" href=\"https:\/\/itbusinesstoday.com\/ja\/industrial-tech\/manufacturing\/cybertrust-helps-manufacturers-meet-european-cyber-resilience-laws-mandatory-vulnerability-reporting-requirements\/\" rel=\"bookmark\">Cybertrust Helps Manufacturers Meet European Cyber &#8203;&#8203;Resilience Law&rsquo;s Mandatory Vulnerability Reporting Requirements<\/a><\/strong><\/h4><p>Sumitomo Electric uses QuickSolution&reg; as a group-wide search platform, and has used the generation AI linkage function of QuickSolution&reg; to build a RAG platform capable of answering internal information. This makes it possible to extract necessary information from file servers (400TB) and document management systems (1.8 million documents) across systems, and generate answers based on that content. It is noteworthy that the construction of a large-capacity RAG platform of several hundred TB was completed in just two weeks. This was possible because, while a normal RAG system requires data to be uploaded to the cloud to be linked to the generation AI, the generation AI linkage of QuickSolution&reg; does not require changing the storage location of the data.<\/p><p>This RAG platform has three features. The first is that it provides accurate answers. The quality of RAG answers depends on the accuracy of the extracted documents, but this platform provides accurate answers by linking reliable internal information narrowed down by QuickSolution&reg; &lsquo;s high-precision search to the generation AI. The second is that it can take into account the user&rsquo;s viewing permissions. QuickSolution&reg; can search and extract documents across the board based on access rights, so it can provide answers based on appropriate permissions from hundreds of TB of internal information distributed across multiple systems. The third is that it is secure to operate. It is designed*2 not to allow the linked generation AI to learn the content of the questions, so there is no risk of questions containing personal or confidential information being leaked.<\/p><p>Currently, the RAG platform is available to anyone who applies &ndash; approximately 40,000 people in the Sumitomo Electric Group in Japan, and approximately 290,000 people overseas &ndash; and is reaping benefits such as improved productivity and the promotion of digital transformation through the effective use of knowledge.
