It will help stabilize the country&rsquo;s national grid. This peaker power plant will work well with Morocco&rsquo;s expanding renewable energy system. It will quickly respond to changes in the grid and provide a reliable power supply. Once operational, the plant&rsquo;s two advanced gas turbines will generate a combined 990 MW, accounting for nearly 7% of Morocco&rsquo;s total grid capacity.<\/p><p>ONEE signed the agreement at its headquarters in Rabat. Attendees included Mr. Tarik Hamane, the CEO of ONEE, and Javier Cavada, the Presiden of Mitsubishi Power EMEA. Khalid Salem, the MENA President, was present.
