HoloLab<\/a> has joined Mitsubishi Electric’s MELFA Robot Partner program as a software partner, expanding its work in XR-based robotics and manufacturing automation. The company is also launching arm-pilot, software that lets operators control MELFA industrial robots remotely using hand tracking on XR devices.<\/p>

The system captures the position and orientation of a user’s hand, allowing the robot to follow their movements. It connects directly with MELFA robot controllers through their real-time external control function. The software supports Meta Quest 3.<\/p>
