Scientists from the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) GNS Science in New Zealand and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) studied rock samples gathered from the volcanos ocean floor. The results were shared in Scientific Reports.<\/p>
