A researcher’s decision to leave Anthropic over concerns about the direction of advanced artificial intelligence is adding fresh pressure to an already intense debate over AI safety. Jacob Coxon, who previously worked at OpenAI before joining Anthropic, publicly announced his resignation this week, arguing that leading AI companies are moving too quickly toward increasingly autonomous and self-improving systems.<\/p>
