FSAS Technologies Co., Ltd.<\/a>\u00a0 and NTT West Corporation have completed operational verification to ensure the stable operation of the domestically produced LLM “tsuzumi<\/a> 2″ in an on-premise environment without using the cloud, for customers such as government agencies, research institutions, financial institutions, and manufacturing companies that require advanced information management.<\/p>\n

By combining FSAS Technologies’ on-premise generative AI platform “Private AI Platform on PRIMERGY”\u00a0 with NTT Group’s domestically developed LLM “tsuzumi 2”, customers can immediately utilize a generative AI environment in which data, AI models, and AI infrastructure can be managed and operated domestically.<\/p>\n

This solution is scheduled to be made available by NTT West Japan starting in September 2026.<\/p>\n

In recent years, generative AI has garnered increasing attention as a technology that can improve operational efficiency, leverage knowledge, and create new value, and its use in companies and local governments is rapidly expanding. On the other hand, organizations that handle highly confidential information, such as government agencies, research institutions, financial institutions, and manufacturing companies, often find it difficult to use cloud-based services from the perspective of information leakage, governance, and data location management. Furthermore, in recent years, there has been growing interest in “sovereign AI” against the backdrop of increasing concern for economic security and data sovereignty. As the use of generative AI expands, there is a growing need for an environment in which not only AI models but also data and infrastructure can be managed domestically.<\/p>\n

NTT West has supported the introduction and utilization of generative AI in a wide range of fields, including local government, healthcare, finance, and manufacturing, through the use of “tsuzumi 2”. Meanwhile, FSAS Technologies has a customer base of approximately 65,000 companies and a maintenance support system with approximately 700 engineer bases nationwide, and its strengths lie in providing and supporting the operation of highly reliable servers and on-premise infrastructure for generative AI.<\/p>\n

By combining their respective strengths, the two companies will realize a generative AI utilization platform that is cloud-independent and possesses data management and operational efficiency.
