Murata Manufacturing has partnered with Synopsys to make its latest simulation models more accessible to engineers using Ansys HFSS and Ansys Icepak. Through the collaboration, users of these tools can directly access and download Murata\u2019s simulation models from the company\u2019s website, reducing friction in the design process and helping engineers work with up-to-date component data.<\/p>\n

The move comes at a time when electronic circuit design gets a lot more demanding, mostly because high speed and high capacity communications keep climbing. Engineers end up having to look at things like electromagnetic interference and heat generation, more or less together, and that makes simulation the critical piece of development. If those concerns are missed early, it can cause a redesign, project delays, and also higher prototyping costs too.<\/p>\n

Murata\u2019s models are put together using data collected across its whole manufacturing process, starting from material development, then final production and all the stops in between. This allows the models to more closely reflect real-world component behavior under different operating conditions.<\/p>\n
