S&J<\/a> launched KeepEye RansomSafe, a new kind of ransomware protection solution, to stop attacks before encryption starts, kind of early. This was built because there\u2019s been this growing trend where ransomware can bypass, or even turn off, normal Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools, so the chance of operational disruption goes up quite a lot.<\/p>\n

The solution is meant to run together with existing security tools and it basically studies odd behavior as soon as files reach a device, not while the ransomware is already running and doing its thing.
