AVEVA K.K., the Japanese subsidiary of AVEVA, a global leader in industrial software that promotes DX and sustainability, announced that it has strengthened its strategic partnership with Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd., Energy Solutions & Marine Company, Marine and Ocean Division, and will jointly promote the optimization and advancement of Kawasaki Heavy Industries’ design systems. Based on this agreement, a comprehensive supply contract has been concluded for the introduction of “AVEVA Marine” and “AVEVA Unified Engineering” at \u5ddd\u5d0e\u91cd\u5de5\u696d<\/a>‘ own factories.<\/p>\n

As a concrete initiative, we will first introduce the “Engineering Module,” which is “1D\/2D\/3D,” in the outfitting field. This will build the foundation of a “digital twin” that allows for consistent management from design to manufacturing by seamlessly linking textual information such as design specifications (1D), layout and system drawing information (2D), and model information for spatial design (3D).<\/p>\n

Next, in the hull sector, we will introduce the latest hull CAD system, “E3D Module,” with completely revamped functionality. By creating a full database of hull information, we will maximize the potential for data utilization from upstream design to production design.<\/p>\n

In implementing these systems, we will make full use of the “\u30a8\u30fc\u30d6\u30a4\u30a8\u30fc<\/a> Marine Center of Excellence” in Busan, South Korea. In particular, in enhancing the detailed and production design functions of components such as brackets, which are essential to hull design, we are deeply involved in the function development itself, directly reflecting our practical knowledge into the development process. Through this “Voice of Customer (VOC)” program, we are strongly promoting the development of practical next-generation design systems that are tailored to real-world requirements, based on direct feedback from the field.<\/p>\n
