JCB Co., Ltd. will begin offering a “Merchant Screening Service” for cashless payment service providers. This service utilizes “Marcs,” a merchant screening system that combines the AI \u200b\u200band data analysis technology of Second Sight Analytica Inc. with the screening know-how that JCB has cultivated over many years. This will enable cashless payment service providers to improve the quality and efficiency of their merchant screening operations.<\/p>\n

In a press release issued in February 2026, we announced that we had entered into a joint venture agreement to build a “merchant screening system” for cashless payment service providers. We are pleased to announce that we have now completed the construction of this system and have begun providing our merchant screening service.<\/p>\n

Background to considering the “Merchant Screening Service”<\/h4>\n
