PTC has announced a design-to-simulation workflow for robotics that connects PTC’s cloud-native computer-aided design (CAD) and product data management (PDM) platform Onshape® with NVIDIA’s open simulation framework NVIDIA Isaac Sim. This new workflow, introduced at NVIDIA GTC 2026 , enables the simulation of robot designs while maintaining a single source of truth. This allows for reduced development time, fewer errors, and faster development, and further supports the realization of physical AI through downstream robot training at NVIDIA Isaac Lab.<\/p>
