The pilot project is part of a larger trend in the telecom sector which is moving to green network operations, thus driven by more and more commitments from corporates to net, zero and tighter regulations. Deploying 5G services and getting ready for 6G in the future, telecom operators’ energy consumption at base stations, data centers, and edge facilities is set to increase. By directly integrating renewable energy into their network operations, telecom providers can:<\/p>
