This function will enable data collaboration between companies and industries, as well as the sharing and exchange of environmental data in accordance with European and international standards. The official launch of this function will be announced soon.<\/p><p>In the automotive industry, with the advancement of electrification and connectivity, there is a rapid demand for the calculation and disclosure of GHG emissions throughout the entire product lifecycle. Compliance with international PCF guidelines (ISO14067, etc.) is becoming increasingly important, and automakers need to understand precise PCFs throughout their supply chains. However, in the current system, PCF calculations at the &ldquo;product level&rdquo; are separated from GHG management at the &ldquo;organization level&rdquo; and sustainability information management required by CSRD, SSBJ, etc., and there are only limited mechanisms for managing both simultaneously and evaluating financial impacts in a seamless manner.<\/p><p>Furthermore, under European battery regulations, disclosure of PCFs for each battery product and the issuance of &ldquo;battery passports&rdquo; for the purposes of traceability and sustainability assurance will become mandatory from 2027. This will make it essential for not only vehicle manufacturers but also battery, parts, and material suppliers to build a system that allows them to manage and share GHG data across the entire lifecycle.<\/p><p>In addition, the harmonization of regulations and systems in various countries and regions is accelerating, with the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), IFRS S1\/S2 published by the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), and Japan&rsquo;s SSBJ disclosure standards.
