In this demonstration, Hitachi combined Hitachi&rsquo;s extensive experience in building platforms for utilizing generative AI and best practices for implementing AI agents based on the concepts of &ldquo;lift to AI&rdquo; and &ldquo;shift to AI&rdquo; with DOCOMO&rsquo;s long-standing expertise in the stable operation of large-scale systems to build a platform that promotes the use of generative AI in the Information Systems Department and develop an AI agent specialized for system operations. The joint trial operation with DOCOMO confirmed the effectiveness of the AI &#8203;&#8203;agent in three use cases: incident case search and response, decision-making and communication of incident information, and automated decision-making on patch application. Furthermore, the automated decision-making on patch application was confirmed to reduce work time by more than 50%.<\/p><p>Based on the results of this demonstration, Hitachi aims to improve the efficiency of the entire Information Systems Department and automate system operation tasks by expanding the use cases in which the AI &#8203;&#8203;agent is applied and increasing the number of users.
