Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced that it has acquired shares in TieUps Inc., a developer of communication tech businesses, and has entered into a capital and business alliance agreement in the areas of planning, marketing, and promotion for “Streamer Times,” a scheduler dedicated to live streaming.<\/p>

Casio’s purpose is to “bring surprise closer to people, bringing joy beyond what they have today.” Casio<\/a> is working to create new businesses that generate new value from the user’s perspective, and is developing various services in the creator economy field, including “Streamer Times,” which enables cross-platform management across multiple live streaming platforms.<\/p>

Meanwhile, TieUps has a vision of “Towards a world where you can take a step forward without even realizing it,” and develops and operates co-creation platforms that contribute to society through the power of technology, such as “TieUps,” a marketing platform that encourages fan behavior, and “lit.link,” a branding profile tool. To date, “lit.link” has achieved a total of more than 70 million fan touchpoints per month, and has improved the experience between creators and fans by visualizing the “connection between fans and content” using data from 3.5 million creators.<\/p>

Utilizing the UI\/UX design and development know-how of “lit.link,” which has over 3.5 million users, primarily from Gen Z, the two companies aim to increase awareness of “Streamer Times” among Gen Z users. Furthermore, by linking together services, such as by creating a “lit.link” URL space in “Streamer Times” profiles, the two companies hope to increase the number of users of both services.<\/p>

As the first step in the collaboration, the two companies have launched the “lit.link Liver Development Program,” an online community for “lit.link” users. This program links “Tie-ups<\/a>” and “Streamer Times” to provide an environment that consistently supports live streamers and creators who want to start streaming, helping them learn, practice, and build a fanbase.<\/p>

This capital and business alliance will accelerate the expansion of “Streamer Times” and support creators’ creative activities.<\/p>
