KSK Corporation and Hitachi, Ltd. have begun a collaborative creation project to utilize advanced digital technologies to digitally transform pharmaceutical delivery operations. KSK, which handles pharmaceutical wholesale, will utilize Hitachi’s Lumada solution, “Hitachi Digital Solution for Logistics, to digitize delivery-related operations that were previously performed manually based on the experience and know-how of on-site experts, and by centrally managing delivery and work performance data, will aim to improve the efficiency of the entire process from inspection by drivers at the time of shipment to delivery and delivery.<\/p>

Specifically, at KSK’s Osaka branch, HDSL will be linked with the integrated logistics management system “HITLUSTER” to digitize the inspection of pharmaceutical shipments in warehouses and the receipt of products at customers, and will also use performance data from warehouse and delivery operations, including these, to automate delivery plans and manage delivery, with trial operations beginning in September 2025. The realization of a cyber-physical system that collects and analyzes centrally managed on-site data in real time will improve the efficiency and quality of on-site work and lead to more advanced management operations.<\/p>

In the future, KSK and Hitachi plan to expand the digitalization of pharmaceutical inspections at the warehouse before shipment and the process of receiving goods at customers, which will be introduced at the Osaka branch, to all 32 of KSK’s branches.<\/p>

\u65e5\u7acb\u306f\u3001HDSL\u3092\u3055\u3089\u306b\u6d3b\u7528\u3057\u3001\u5404\u62e0\u70b9\u306b\u304a\u3051\u308b\u30c7\u30ea\u30d0\u30ea\u30fc\u30d7\u30e9\u30f3\u306e\u6700\u9069\u5316\u3092\u56f3\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002 KSK<\/a>‘s logistics centers, warehouses, sales offices, and customer logistics networks, achieving sustainable logistics. Hitachi will also use Hitachi’s domain knowledge and AI to transform data into value, evolving this service into Lumada 3.0, which will address customer and societal challenges.
