Hitachi Systems<\/a>, Ltd. begins offering “PhishWall Mobile SDK”, which provides the same functionality as “PhishWall Premium”, which detects suspicious sites that imitate the websites of financial institutions and other organisations, when used on a smartphone’s standard browser.<\/p>

“PhishWall Premium” has been introduced to approximately 200 financial institutions in Japan to increase the security of internet banking transactions and prevent fraudulent transfers and phishing scams using its core technology, “PhishWall Authentication”.<\/p>

In recent years, the number of victims of fraudulent money transfer scams has increased sharply, and most of these scams are based on phishing. In response to the current situation where security measures tend to be weaker when using smartphones compared to PCs, we developed “PhishWall Mobile SDK”, which brings the functionality of “PhishWall Premium”, which detects suspicious sites, to the smartphone environment.<\/p>
