Alibaba Cloud, the digital technology and intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group, is recognised in “The Forrester New Wave™: SaaS Marketplaces, Q2 2020” report as a strong performer for its marketplace offerings. The report evaluated software-as-a-service (SaaS) marketplaces of the eight most significant providers in the category.
In the evaluation, Forrester noted that Alibaba Cloud “Can match up with any firm for scale and features”, with its “thousands of SaaS applications and sophisticated features across all major areas of the marketplace including search, transaction, and management console”. In addition, Alibaba Cloud also received a “differentiated” rating in the criteria of management console, AI and automation as well as roadmap. Alibaba Cloud customers also commented that they are satisfied with the number of resources and quality assurance that the marketplace provides.

Since Alibaba Cloud’s SaaS is driven, “to-be-integrated” strategy was announced in 2019, Alibaba Cloud has been steadily attracting the world’s leading partners such as Salesforce, MongoDB, Aryaka, VMware, and Avnet to the platform. Alibaba Cloud is working with close to 10,000 global partners serving more than 350,000 business customers worldwide and delivered more than 2,000 hybrid cloud projects last year with partners.
